An Urgent Request for Prayer

Tonight at 6:00 p.m. (11:00 a.m. EST) we will be meeting with a woman from an organization that works with aged out orphans and her Ukrainian friend who has adopted two teens. They will serve as impartial facilitators (not tied to the adoption) to help us have a heart to heart discussion with Igor about what he wants, his options, our expectations, his goals, dreams, etc.
Today in talking with the woman we will meet, we realized she attended the intensive advanced Russian class our ministry taught in Kiev five years ago. Dave and I served during this time as facilitators for the class, providing for class needs, serving in the way of hospitality, and helping with the unexpected. How special of God to connect us with someone we had a small hand in training through the ministry and to see she is still here, thriving, and is now going to help us!
For tonight, please specifically pray:
God will make it clear to all three of us what is the best thing for Igor.
Clear communication and no misunderstandings
That we'd have a true sense as to whether or not Igor's hesitation is based in fear or in a real desire to remain in Ukraine. Igor has not expressed specific reasons up to this point for why he's considering staying.
God has shown us clearly from the beginning of this process with Igor that we were to pursue him. God forces no one to come to Him and be part of His forever family and yet He still pursues each of us with an everlasting love. May God allow our love for Igor to be like His and be willing to accept rejection if Igor decides to stay.
